Decorating an Oval Table Oval is a classic, and a beautiful shape for a table. But if you have a smaller table, adding placemats can present a bit of a problem. There may not be enough room at the ends of the table to accommodate the placemats without having them overlap. One creative solution is to use a combination of differently shaped placemats: oval or octagonal for the long sides of the table, and wedge-shaped at the ends. |
