DRAFT STOPPER
Our standard draft stopper is sized to fit the typical 36" door, but we will custom sew any length you need, up to 52".
True, they're low-tech... but if they have been around so many years, guess what? It means they really work! With over four pounds of filling inside, our draft-stoppers can be pushed tightly into place against your door (or window sill), and they will stay put. A layer of vinyl inside the fabric allows you to spot clean the outside of the draftstopper, and also helps to keep the filler dry - an important consideration if you have melting snow or other wetness to contend with.
Many colors and prints available, see our online fabric gallery for selections. Sorry, these are not reversible, so you will have to choose your one favorite fabric, and we will custom make your draftstopper for you.
If you need a special size, you may order one in any (whole-inch) size up to 52" in length.
Draftstoppers are priced as follows:
up to 36" - $18.00
37" to 42" - $20.50
43" to 48" - $23.00
49" to 52" - $25.00
When ordering custom draftstoppers, please use the "special requests" box in the shopping cart to specify the length you need and your fabric choice (from our online fabric gallery).
These draftstoppers work best when the drafty "gap" you want to cover is no more than 1 1/2" up from the floor or windowsill. If your gap is higher, you can stack two draftstoppers on top of each other to do the job.
