International Shipping Rates:
We only ship international packages through the US Postal Service.
Please note that your country may charge customs fees, duty and/or taxes; these will be charged when the package is delivered to you. More information can be found by following this link:
The cost for international shipping depends on the weight of the package. Please e-mail us for an estimate. We will need to know which items(s) you are interested in, the quantity of each, and your complete address including postal code and your country.
When giving a quote on international shipping, we will usually give you several options, so that you can make a choice as to price and speed.
In making your choice, please be aware that package tracking is ONLY available for parcels sent by Global Express Mail, and that service is quite expensive. Insurance is only available on packages sent by Parcel Post - either air or economy (surface/slow boat). The most economical choice is usually Letter Post (either air or surface) but insurance is NOT available for packages sent by this method.
In any case, if you choose NOT to insure an international package (or choose to have it shipped by a method which does not allow for insurance), we will not assume any responsibility for the shipment, once we have taken it to the Post Office. Except for insured shipments or Global Express mail, our Post Office will not even start an inquiry/trace process on undelivered (lost) packages.
Having said all this, we've shipped hundreds of international packages, and to date only one has been lost (bound for Brazil). We have, however, had packages delivered later than expected, usually due to delays in Customs.
