Quaker Arts Festival September 16-17, 2006 hours: Saturday 10:00 - 5:00, Sunday 10:00 - 4:00 This is a really, really big show! It features over 400 exhibitors, and completely encircles the Orchard Park Middle School. Most of the crafters are located outside, but some are also in the foyer and cafeteria of the school. If it has been raining, and on this weekend it usually has, be sure to wear boots, as the ground soon turns to mud with all the traffic this show brings. Finding parking at this show can be challenging, as the few municipal lots fill up quickly and the sidestreets are usually full as well. There is a shuttle bus which will take you to and from Chestnut Ridge Park. Admission is free, and food is available. See pictures! For those with small children: the lines for the rest rooms are usually quite long, so better plan ahead! There is also a nice playground nearby, behind the South Davis Elementary School.
